## The System Around theI’m an Enterprise agile and Technology Delivery Leader with 25+ years of experience helping organizations improve how they turn ideas into working, valuable outcomes. My work has spanned public utilities, avionics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, fintech, insurance, and other complex enterprise environments.
My journey began as a Staff Software Engineer and Build & Release Engineer at Control Systems International. That technical foundation still shapes how I see organizations today: as interconnected systems of work, people, technology, dependencies, feedback loops, and constraints. Over time, my focus expanded from writing and releasing software to improving the broader conditions in which software and technology initiatives are delivered.
That evolution has taken me from engineering and automation into product delivery, program leadership, enterprise coaching, organizational design, and transformation. At Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile, I helped launch Mint Mobile from concept to market, supported the migration of hundreds of thousands of subscribers following the Univision Mobile acquisition, and reorganized engineering teams supporting platforms used by approximately 4 million people. At Cloudvirga, I coached six distributed onshore and offshore teams toward continuous delivery, while at CalOptima I helped restore predictable delivery after more than thirty weeks without a successful Sprint outcome. At Acorns, Lean product and delivery improvements contributed to more than 5.4 million additional customer registrations. At Allergan, I helped build a centralized global development ecosystem using TFS, CI/CD, and deployment automation, improved release governance and delivery consistency, and helped transition critical software capability and intellectual property back from external vendors to internal engineering teams. At Southern California Edison, I have supported enterprise delivery and portfolio improvement across Power Supply, Grid Modernization, Customer Service, cybersecurity, SAP S/4HANA, and PMO modernization, while also introducing AI-assisted requirements practices to reduce upfront analysis effort and accelerate delivery.
Today, I work with teams, leaders, programs, portfolios, and PMOs to reduce organizational friction, improve flow, strengthen delivery capability, and build ways of working that remain effective after the consultant or coach leaves. My approach is pragmatic rather than framework-driven. I believe small batches create clarity, rapid feedback creates knowledge, technical excellence matters, and process must always serve the business—not the other way around.
I’m also an active member of regional and global agile practitioner communities, where I have taught, facilitated, mentored, organized events, and challenged organizations to move beyond performative agile toward measurable improvement. What continues to energize me is helping people see the system around their work more clearly—and then helping them change it.
